We live inside a routine which consumes us completely a lot of time, has it happened to you? That’s why we don’t always have the time for ourselves, to do something which makes us feel good because we are always thinking about something else.
We want to tell you that taking care of yourself is an act of respect to you. When you honor yourself and everything you are, you start shining in a completely natural way because you give yourself time, you listen to yourself, and learn how to manage stress (we told you how to make it with meditation!).
What does it mean to take care of yourself?
It can mean a lot of things and it will depend on each one how to do it. However, there’s a thing that does apply to each of us: taking care of you is taking time to know you and understand everything about you. That’s why when you take care of yourself, you’re capable of taking a rest, set limits, knowing what your body needs and the list goes on.
And don’t believe you need to do five hours of meditation or yoga to have a self-care time, it’s not like that! Taking care of you is also making healthy decisions for yourself, knowing they’ll make you good and are the best for you; taking care of you is learning to balance and not letting excess win (especially at work), among other things.
Self-care also starts with hair!
Your hair is a part of you and expresses who you are. It changes as much as you can, and a lot of times it’s going to be the reflection of some moments of your life. Also, you can change it and do whatever you want with it, you just have to feel comfortable. So, yes, your hair will always represent who you are and what you like to see in yourself.
Your hair is also the reflection of how you are on the inside, how your health is going, and if you’re really feeling well or not.
That’s why it is really important to organize a haircare routine, to cut it regularly, or just give tons of love to it because they’re also self-care demonstrations. You’ll end up feeling good, like new and fresher. We know that we don’t always have the time, but you don’t need to do something huge to take care of your hair: sometimes, it can only be a treatment, brush it or even give a massage to your scalp.
Do not take this special moment for granted with a part of your body that is so important. Your hair represents very well who you are and what you want to achieve, it is an extension of you that accompanies you on a daily basis.
Take care of it and take care of yourself!
